What the majority of youngsters are doing now in days is going on social networks websites such as Myspace and Facebook, Bebo, myyearbook e.t.c. . Most of these youngster do it for entertainment or some even do it to try to fit in. Some even do it for self expression, or a place to complain about adults. For whatever reason this may be, the parents of these youngsters worry for their children. watching a presentation on the website http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/kidsonline/# raised some issues, regarding social networking. One of the parents stressed that when these teenagers are on these social networks, they are letting everyone into their lives. Since they are living their lives online, they cannot be out of the loop for a while. Even when its time for homework they have to be on at least one social networking website. They are relying too much on it. The parents stress that there is nobody in charge and that it is hard to to control what their children is doing online. The majority of parents don't know how to use the internet, therefore they don't know what their children is up to. These youngster love social networking, but is it really bad for them?
Virtual world second life has put in effect some new measure to keep adult content away from users who might not want to run into it. Second life is a place to connect, a place to shop, a place to work, a place to love, a place to explore, be different, be yourself, free yourself, free your mind, change your mind, change your look, love your look, love your life.
